as title says. battle passes have gotten worse over time, the skins are less interesting the emotes are usually worthless, example the ronin charge up emote.
battle passes use to be full of unique and premium stuff not found in the store, progressive skins, cool emotes like playing golf with your pic and pointing with your pic, challenges to unlock unique styles for skins, or even overtime challenges.
now battle passes are items that can't really be used on other skins (examples being some wraps and many gliders/picks, older seasons had items with characters but were less specific to them so you could mix and match items) or tier 100 collab skins so people will pay lots for levels to get characters they like, another issue is a lack of themes now I understand why this season lacked one but why did season 8 not have one, that was an easy chance for a cool apocalypse season. either way I hope next season improves the battle pass rewards and give us cooler unique items and a good battle pass themed to the war season.
tl:dr: personally haven't liked the recent battle passes/think they're bland and hope they get better
