Hello r/FortNiteBR! It has been quite some time since we've posted one of these. We wanted to inform everyone of some current (and some upcoming) changes and happenings around the subreddit! Let's get started.
New Rules
We have recently finished discussing and debating every single line in the subreddit rules and guidelines. Our overall goal was to make it easier to submit content in this community. There were also changes to the Weekly Topics, including the removal of Throwback Thursday and Suggestion Saturday. This is a huge makeover, and we hope that you all will like it. Please bear with us as we all adjust to the new guidelines, after so long with the old rules we may make mistakes, but we will do our best to rectify them as quickly as possible. Visit this thread to view the new rules and provide feedback, or visit the rules wiki if you just wish to read them.
Upcoming Snoo Contest
Next week, we will be bringing back a community favorite...the Snoo contest! Members of the community can submit their take on a Reddit Snoo that they feel best represents the community, or Fortnite in general. This time however, we are joining forces with our Discord server! You can submit up to two designs (one for Reddit and one for Discord, or one for both). Voting on the subreddit and in the Discord server will determine the next Snoo! We can't wait to see what you all come up with. We will begin accepting entries next week. Details of the contest will also be available at that time, keep an eye out for an announcement!
Monthly V-Bucks Giveaways
We now host monthly V-Bucks giveaways both here on the subreddit, as well as in our Discord server! Each month we will be giving away $25 and $10 in V-Bucks for both Reddit AND Discord. You are not limited to one or the other, and can enter both giveaways if you wish. Terms and conditions apply, check out this giveaway thread for details.
Hot Saucers vs IO Advocates
We were fortunate to have Mari stop by to share memos and enlist the help of the community just before Operation: Sky Fire! There were so many recruits that Mari needed time every now and then to catch up.
How did you feel about the subreddit being involved in the event? Which side did you choose? Let us know!
If you enlisted and received either the Hot Saucer
or IO Advocate
user flair, you are welcome to keep them! You can also choose to switch back to your previous (or a new) user flair via the user flair selector in the section below.
Flair Facts
For those unfamiliar with Reddit and/or flairs in general, users are able to select their favorite Fortnite skin and display it next to their name. These are called user flairs.
Huge shout out to u/Haveireddit of the mod team who keeps the flair system updated and is responsible for a majority of the bot functionality across our entire family of subreddits. Be sure to thank him for his work if you see him around!
We have gathered some user flair data we thought the community would be interested in. What skins are community favorites? By far, the most popular flairs were...
