If I had a nickel for every time a female skin in the Battle Pass of an odd-numbered Chapter 2 season got a male counterpart in the Item Shop and was hinted to have lore relevance that went nowhere, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
