What do you guys think of smaller scale Fortnite in-game tournaments that happen often and award V-Bucks instead of cash?

THINK ABOUT THIS:

While 30 MILLION dollars is a lot of money for a tournament, only a microscopic percentage of people get that money. Now what if:

16-Player bracket and 1000 V-Buck prize pool. There is an allotted sign-up time (perhaps 3:00PM-4:00PM); think of it as a registration period.

Then, players can compete much like their idols in less high-stakes tournaments for in-game currency that won't significantly eat Epic Games' wallet and increase playerbase longevity and interest.

Here is why I know something like this works:

League of Legends ran tournaments just like this (Clash is also in the making for them as well) and were highly successful and supremely hyped up for good reason. While the prize is negligible, it gives players something to practice and strive for. I think the idea can work great in Fortnite; there can be large scale WC prize pool tournaments, and these smaller scale ones in order for everyone to get involved. Just thinking about it makes me excited for Fortnite's future.

What do you guys think?

This post is exactly what I feel about every shotgun this game has made that wasn’t OG Pump or Havoc.
