Theory about the whole storyline and how we might've got something wrong.

TL;DR: singularity and the visitor came out of the meteor, they launch a rocket, the rocket goes through the in-between to kill the monster in season 9's live event.

There is a big blue meteor coming towards our island. Out of the meteor comes the visitor and he launches a rocket to destroy tilted towers, but the rocket malfunctions and the rocket creates a rift in the sky. Or so we thought.

as we can see on the 100 fortbyte loading screen, there is a meteor shown and an arrow pointing at two people. Possibly two people came out of it.

My theory is that the second person that came out of the meteor was none other than Singularity. The visitor may not be a bad guy after all, as he and Singularity are trying to save our island. When they launched the rocket, we can hear in this clip at the 0:55 timestamp that two people are talking to each other. They both sound like they're male, but I still believe that the two talking are the visitor and singularity. The rocket doesn't look like a spacecraft, so the visitor definitely isn't in there. They launch the rocket and they create a rift to the in-between. But now, there's a giant rift in the sky, what are they going to do to dispose of it? They make a cube which goes around the island in season 5, stamping runes in various locations to save its energy for later. The cube melts into Loot Lake, so it could easily raise up an island. Kevin then goes to the runes and gains their energy that he stamped into the ground for now. Kevin now has too much energy and explodes twice. First time to destroy the island and the second time before he left his energy into a sinkhole. When Kevin exploded, we were in the in-between, and that's the butterfly event. We float around the in-between and we hear a siren identical to the rocket launch. The rocket in season 4 entered the rift and it was in the inbetween. It's still running. When we touch the butterfly, we went forward in time, which is quite obvious as we see Loot Lake full with flowers, grass has grown, and Singularity and the visitor have built in the vault while we were in the in-between. Season 7 didn't do much with Loot Lake, the vault or the two "heroes", but it's still really important. An iceberg crashes, and it's the most dangerous addition to the island as it contains the monster, fire king, ice king, and because of the ice king, the ice storm event. Polar Peak thaws, leading the Ice King to send the ice storm. The Fire King is freed from is chains and takes the Hybrid eggs. He makes a giant volcano, and season 8 starts. Nothing really happened until the last few weeks of the season, where the floting runes, which are the vault keys started appearing. With each one entering the vault, the volcano starts getting more active. The last rune enters, and we go to the in-between once again. In there we can see a giant orb (possibly) containing Kevin's energy, a desk with Singularity's helmet on it and 6 vaulted items. We unvault the drum gun and we get sent back out of the vault. The volcano erupts and it destroys Titled Towers and Retail Row, but most importantly, it hit Polar Peak which awakens the monster inside of it. Singularity then helps to rebuild Tilted Towers and make Mega Mall, so she donates Kevin's energy from the vault to Neo Tilted so they make her a statue in her honor. Fast forward to season 9 and the monster has destroyed and stomped some locations, most importantly being one of Loot Lake's buildings, and it damaged the wire that goes from the vault to Tilted. It's finally time. Singularity and the workers have started working on a robot for a distraction to the monster. When the event starts, the monster comes out of the water, they both fight, but the robot loses. Remember, this is part of the plan. The monster does a victory screech and the rocket comes flying out of a rift and kills the monster. And this is the end of chapter 1.

But hey, that's just a theory.
