For example:
If I’m in a 2v1 situation and I manage to isolate a player from the Duo and I manage to knock them, I’m killing them immediately. This prevents a potential revive if I need to heal. Also, if I need mats/heals etc, I’m immediately killing your teammate. End of.
“Thirsting” will always be a part of this game. Don’t like it? Don’t play Fortnite. It’s a Battle Royale game. It’s going to happen.
I’m not going to knock Streamer[341] and leave him knocked because I saw a post on Reddit saying “we as a community need to stop thirsting!!”. I’m immediately killing him, taking his loot/mats, and then focusing on the next player that I need to deal with.
I have no idea why these posts are becoming more and more frequent. There’s already a generous 3 second delay before you can finish off your opponent. If you’re in a hectic situation, that time alone can be the difference between you managing to get the kill off or their teammate knocking/eliminating you.
Not trying to come across as arrogant here, but “thirsting” really isn’t going anywhere. It’ll be in this game until the end of time when Patch v500 releases and we’re all flying around on Donkeys with RPG and Lazer attachments.
