Maybe in the early stages of the game they were fun for a joke or two between you and an enemy, but there’s so many now and I haven’t seen them used in game in months. Most of them don’t even make sense. They’ve become battle pass unlockables designed to fill space between dances, sprays, and skins.
I think they’re becoming remnants of Fortinite past. To me, sprays are much more interesting and can actually effect the world. Dance emotes are obviously great. But I think the throwable emotes have run their course and I would welcome anything that could take their place.
