Anyone else notice a weird difficulty spike?

When I got back into Fortnite it was fun and I could play the game without having to worry about taking the game super seriously but now it’s like I’m playing against pros now idk if it’s cuz I’ve changed my set up on my controller and changed my setting but it seems since then that’s when I got a random difficulty spike or maybe sbmm is broken now? Does anyone have an explanation cuz this random spike in difficulty is annoying and I can’t even have fun with the game anymore and I thought area would help cuz I thought area would have better sbmm but it’s even worse imo like wtf is going on is Fortnite nothing but sweats and try hards now? I remember playing this game and having fun but now I feel like it’s gonna give me a aneurism
