Fortnite removing skins from your account?

So I logged in to Fortnite today and noticed the NFL skins in the shop. I basically just glanced over them because i had already bought them with the pickaxe last year. I figured i would play a game or two in the skin but when i went to my locker the skin was gone. I went back to the shop and instead of it saying i already owned the skin (like i did) it asked me to pay another $15. The funny thing is that i bought the pickaxe at the same time as the skins and the pickaxe is the only item from the collection i still own.

Has this happened to any of you? Is this a massive issue Fortnite hasent addressed? I sent a report to Epic, hopefully they get back to me.

How to never be afraid of enemies, and how to smell their fear in Fortnite Battle Royale. My guide on haw to strategize in almost any situation.

If you crap you pants the second your duo goes down, this is the guide for you. However advanced tactics are throughout that could help even the elite.

Firstly, know the value of each mode. You need to play solos to learn how to not rely on others...you need to play duos/squads to learn how to work with others and learn teammate habits. You need to play creative to work on building and editing routines so they happen effortlessly in emergencies. You need to play solo duos to learn how to not rely on teammates against multiple enemies at a time, and solo squads...that’s how you become an army of one. Once you don’t fear any amount of enemies...you will almost look forward to them knocking your teammates for the adrenaline boost (high) you get from overcoming a situation intentionally...almost lol.

‘Divide and conquer’ is as true in Fortnite as it is in anything else. You need to be able to confuse your enemies, never let them guess your next move.

You need to learn how to spot the team leader of any given team, and you need to take that person out first. (the team leader is the cocky one/the one who isn’t crouching(noob trait)/the person in the front of everyone else/the one that can build the best/mr edit pro) Once a team loses the person they all most rely on and revere...they panic.

You need to know the difference between when someone fears you, when they are flat out panicking, when they have no clue what to do now other than run, and when they are luring you into a trap.

Know that when you knock the team leader, more often than not...he doesn’t think his team can hack it without him and demands to be revived...read into that, and use it to your advantage. He will stress out the other already stressed teammates and that’s when you add another layer on top.

Most importantly, know how and when to build for EVERY scenario. Incoming grenades/rockets/smg fire/snipes...each scenario requires a different approach to counter building to maximize survival chances. Need to heal? DO NOT STAND OUT IN THE OPEN. Learning how to edit any type of panel and switch immediately back to your weapon will take you even farther up the greatness ladder.

Learn how to spot snipers, then learn how to trick them. That’s a tough logic to explain, but basically it comes down to predicting them while being unpredictable yourself. Use third person to your advantage or ramp/roof edits to see through straight to the enemies. DO NOT POKE YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE SAME PLACE TWICE IN A FIREFIGHT, OR EVEN TO LOOK FOR ENEMIES...Get them beaded onto a spot they are sure you will pop out of, and then change to a spot where ideally you think you would least expect someone to pop out and snipe you if you were them...then be quick. Didn’t work? CHANGE to a 3rd position...this will psychologically annihilate them.

You need to stop fearing rocket launchers (especially you people who get so frustrated that you start demanding they be vaulted). As with snipers, you need to be able to spot the guy with the rpg ASAP as well as what type of rpg he has to gauge danger, warn others immediately, and take rpg guy out FIRST in almost any situation if possible. If that’s not possible, you need to have enough mats to reverse build and put as much between you and them to destroy as possible to keep yourself/ teammates safe from blast. This is also how you will exhaust/waste their rocket supply. Count 13 rockets and they are out of ammo. It only takes one wooden panel to keep you from a blast...use that knowledge to get right up to a person who is dead set on killing you with a rocket to blow it up in their face with a wall or ceiling. Know the timing between rockets...always plan for the fastest reload unless you know otherwise for certain...use it to whatever advantage you have at the time.

If you kill someone inside a building, and know their friend is going to come. Know that the friend will be telling them where you are most likely to be...don’t be there, be opposite and shoot them in the back of their unsuspecting heads. Also a great time to put a trap down if you know someone’s going to come...if the friend didn’t get hit with a trap and the other is to far to have heard it...they have no warning other than their own situational awareness...use that.

If you’re teammate gets knocked in a build, know that the enemy wants them eliminated...also know that they potentially used all the steps mentioned above and are progressing to finish the job ASAP. They will assume often that you will stay right there and revive them...throw up enough panels to give them something to shoot at and suggest that you are staying to protect and revive...now your job is to pick them up, REMAIN UNSEEN, and bring them to the LAST PLACE you think the enemy is going to think you’ll possibly be while they still think you are there and are firing rockets/rounds to keep you held in place guarding your teammate. They will try to bring the whole place down to find you, but by then your teammates back up and you are one guard while they heal.

SOMETIMES HEALING ISNT AN OPTION...sometimes you have to finish the job NOW.

Time everything out in your head. Knowing that an enemy will get a revive before you will on your teammate is vital info. Knowing that if you revive a teammate in the storm you will both die instead of just them is vital information. They should be understanding, don’t let their cry’s sway you...they have their whole lives to get over it lol.

Lastly, if an enemy or a teammate does something that impresses/confuses/enrages/bewilders you...you can too. Figure out what they did, go into creative if it was a build technique you want to reverse engineer, add it to your routine and use it against them or for your own advantage. If it looks efficient and logical, it was probably done on purpose. Record and watch replays to get the fine details and learn from others and also yourself.

This started as a comment I made to someone wanting to get better and stop being afraid and asking how to go about playing with others without being overwhelmed...but it was too much info to give to just one person...decided to post it as well to reach more of you. Reworded it because it started out weird and catered to them specifically...didn’t think I’d type all this, but couldn’t stop after I started lol. Hope this helps with critical thinking. This fan base sucks

The fan base of fortnite is actually terrible, all we do is complain and then when we get what we want we complain we want it the other way. All of season X we were complaining that the game was too chaotic and should be more calm and have less items, now that we have that we are complaining we want it chaotic again.

We all asked for a new map, now that we have a new map what are we doing? We’re asking for the old map back. Another thing is that when fortnite gets even remotely the way we don’t want it, everyone says “fortnite is dying and epic is dumb for what they’re doing” when in reality WE ARE THE ONES THAT ASKED FOR IT!

Plus I think epic knows what they’re doing, this season is called “CHAPTER 2 SEASON 1” for a reason. It’s as if the game was in season 1 again, aka new map, not much updates, small lootpool, and not really a storyline. The game isn’t dying for having a season with not much happening.

Anyways the whole point of this post was just to say how annoying this fan base is and how we overreact over everything. You can discuss in the comments your feelings on this, I am curious what other people think of this fan base.

This suggestion was given by “The Countdown” and I decided to bring it to Reddit for more exposure: The sniper glare idea isn’t a bad one. This makes the game a little more realistic and players would have a fighting advantage against those try hard snipers. It’s not the biggest problem, but still.

Fishing rods should not go in chests or floor loot.

Fishing rods are found naturally around the map as floor loot or one of the fishing rod barrels.

If you’re going fishing, you will most likely be heading for a spot with a fishing rod barrel to pick up a fishing rod and go fishing at a fishing spot.

Now, you can find fishing rods in chests, and this messes with the loot pool. You’re more likely to find fishing rods in chests than you are to find any other heal or utility. This should not be the case.

Fishing rods should only be available at fishing barrels. To counteract this, a fishing barrel can be placed in a house so fishing rod overall spawns are not affected.

To everyone complaining about today’s update

Remember when that article came out about how the Epic employees are overworked? So many people in the community agreed that the employees needed a break and we were fine with less content. Looking at the subreddit today, it seems like nobody who said that actually cared.

Epic went on a break for the holidays, which is why today’s update didn’t have much new content. Even though it’s been a while since the last update, Epic has been on break for most of the time.

Now they’re back at work, and I’m sure v11.5 will be a larger update than today’s.

Nothing feels the same anymore

There's no hype about patches anymore, no excitement of waking up and waiting for the patch notes and seeing what's new, not many streamers are even streaming patches anymore, there's just nothing, We got the AK unvaulted with the new upgrade switch thing, which is nothing it's just going to be a normal thing within a day and than it's back to the driest season ever for WEEKS. and that's literally it nothing else.. Challenges for the new styles are nice and all but what happened?

What happened to the communication with your own community, what happened to giving the players what they truly want in the game? I expected big things from this patch giving that we hadn't had anything in so long apart from the star wars sh** that they kept on stretching for a whole entire damn month.

This patch was the only hope for players to keep playing a little bit more this season but you've failed and the ones who don't care about the challenges won't play until season 2 or even than just log in a few days before to do the challenges and that's it, there's no reason to play the game right now until you put out a new season and maybe just maybe put something in season 2...

Epic isn' t the only one to blame if the game is boring

(This was a comment on a post, some told me I should post it, so here I am, this way it may get more attention :])

In my opinion this game is ruined by players that only wants to win and nothing else. Let me elaborate.

Everyone that played season 4 missed those days, where they would add fun items, etc. (I didn' t play back then), but if you really look back, people were as terrible as bots now, the pros back then would do random shit like trolling temmates. Now even terrible players can build.

Chapter 2 is here, there is everything the community ""asked"" for seasons, a more balanced fortnite with a better map. At first this loot pool for me was amazing, I could have fun with few items and tried ones I' ve never tried. Now it' s getting stale.

You can' t blame it all on Epic for this, the community wanted it, season x has been that, people complaining and get toxic saying how the game "isn' t competitive", how "You don' t need skill to win a match now". Now that the game is competitive enough, you have to have skills to win the game, everyone complains how the game is a sweatfest now. The community wanted this, without knowing what they were really going for.

As a player who haven' t played in s4/5, I did some research to see the weapons added, and I saw some... pretty broken ones: drum gun and LMG are the ones I remember now. Season 5 then has been a spray meta apparently. How is now everyone missing it, I heard people complained about it.. uuh alright?

Season X had mechs and that turbo building nerf, they were terrible. But the rest (IMO) was really fun and good! Junk rift were fun as hell, zappers were really original, the rift zones were cool (except moisty and greasy lol), but people complained. Why? It wasn' t competitive enough.

See what I mean by this? People thought they wanted a balanced fortnite, but now that they lost all that "quirkiness" the game had, they miss it. Nobody knew where they were going with that, and now everyone pays the consequences of months of toxic complaints.

Lastly: I agree, forced crossplay shouldn' t be a thing, and SBMM is flawed, but if you look better into these complaints compared to the ones in season x (for example), you see people here complaining because they can' t have fun and can' t do random crap, while on season x everyone complained not because it wasn' t fun, but because "it requires no skill to use it, remove it". See the difference?

I love chapter 2, it' s the one I had most fun and improvements. But now it' s getting stale, and it' s not only Epic' s fault, but in grand part it' s the community' s fault as well. That' s how I see it anyway, you can have a different opinion.

Before the last of the seasonal snow melts away, can we take a moment to appreciate everyone involved in the design/implementation of The Blizzard?

The Blizzard was a fabulous addition to the game, and here's my reasons why:

• It was a great, seasonal addition to the snow-covered map.

• Dropping from the bus amidst gently-spinning snowflakes

• It had range - from gentle flurries of flakes if you were on the edge of the storm, to the near-blind white-out horizonal squalls if you were in the heart of the storm.

• It could be used offensively, to mask footsteps and sneak up on opponents.

• It could be used defensively, as cover to slip away from opponents when needed.

• The afterstorm was beautifully realised, with sunny, clear skies and everything appearing brighter, crisp and sparkling.

• The wonderful sound effects, from the storm itself to the crunch of footsteps in crisp snow.

There are also little touches that enrich the snowy landscape still:

• Drifting flakes that sometimes fool you into seeing opponent movement.

• Wispy clouds of powdery snow blown from the high altitude slopes.

Suggestions for future development:

• Some kind of health penalty if you're caught out in the open in the heart of the blizzard, say half or quarter of the storm damage. To avoid the wind-chill, you can take shelter in a building, or build one for yourself.

• Spring deluges of rain.

• Summer dust/sand storms.

• Autumn squalls of leaves.

Desynchronization issues

UPDATE:

We've resolved the server desynchronization issue involving players being unable to move or access their inventory, as well as the one involving the loading screen appearing for a long duration and/or at irregular times.

We're investigating an issue where players may be unable to move or don't have access to their inventories when loaded into a match. We'll update you when we have more information.
