RANT: This community is full of hypocrites that don't know what they want for the game

I've tried to ignore it, but after reading through a certain thread on the front page, I just can't anymore. I genuinely cannot believe people are complaining about this current season. And before you call me an "ePic sHilL", I have called out Epic on the things that they did wrong in the past (and in this post) and will continue to do so.

The complaints seem to stem from the fact that there "isn't any content right now". First of all, no content? Are you kidding me? We just got a whole new map, a whole new mechanic in fishing, 2 weapons were leaked in the files, the art team is still working their asses off creating amazing skins for us, the Storm King was brought to BR a few weeks ago, LTMs are coming back, yet you believe that there "isn't any content"? I will admit that new additions have been much less compared to Season X, but seriously, do people really want to go back to Season X? Where "content" was plentiful? Oh wait, you all were complaining (and justifiably) back then as well. Chapter 2 is still much more content than games such as CSGO get, yet that community loves the game and is grateful while you all are still complaining. Besides, content doesn't mean anything if said content makes the games experience even worse.

May I remind you that in Season X, we got a LOT of content every update, but half the time said content made the game worse. The Rift Zones that had dumb gimmicks like no building, prop hunt, zombies, Taco Time...do you really want that? And that's not even getting into the items. The BRUTE, the completely useless Autosniper, the Junk Rift, the overpowered Tac SMG...

This season is a breath of fresh air, away from the atrocity that was Season X, which everyone hated. Epic shifted their philosophy and returned the map and loot pool to a very good, uncluttered, and balanced state. Yet people are now complaining about "nOt eNough ConTent".

How can you complain about a season which had some of the worst items balance wise, yet complain AGAIN when Epic shifts their philosophy away from that? What in the world do people want? Epic tried adding something every patch, you guys hated it. Now that they don't, people still aren't happy. I just don't understand this community. Epic could cater to every single balance suggestion that Reddit claims will make the game better and they still wouldn't be happy

Also, I love how people want planes back now, yet back in S7 all people could talk about was how ridiculously OP they were. Are you actually fucking kidding me?!
