I used to enjoy watching Prospering, but lately his attitude has gotten harder and harder to tolerate.
What frustrates me most is the constant victim mentality. Blaming outside factors for why he isn't where he wants to be, while never reflecting on how his own behavior affects his audience and reputation. A big part of that is how he repeatedly chalks up his subscriber count to his audience being poor. Instead of looking inward, he's essentially telling the people watching him that they're the problem. On top of that, he regularly goes entire streams barely engaging with chat, which makes the experience feel disconnected for the viewers who actually showed up to support him.
There's also a pretty glaring contradiction in how he presents himself. He talks about being a man of faith, yet constantly says money is all that matters to him. There's nothing wrong with treating streaming like a business but when every conversation circles back to money, and you're openly calling your own audience broke, the community starts to feel less like supporters and more like a revenue stream that keeps disappointing you.
At this point it feels less like frustration from a creator trying to grow, and more like resentment aimed at the very people who helped build his platform. Curious if other longtime viewers have noticed the same shift.
