Do you guys think hiding and not killing anyone until the last circle is cowardice?

Just a debate I had with my brother. He said that if you don't get any kills than your win doesn't count and you can't be taken seriously as a good player, while I say that even if you only kill the last person standing and get a VR that's still a win and a nice use of strategies.

Just curious on what is the common opinion around this.
