If someone has 10 shields and 100 health, and I deal 50 damage to them, I should see a blue 10 and a white 40.

Patch notes:

When health and shield damage occur at the same time, they will now be combined and displayed as a single shield damage number.

The latest patch included this change and I was wondering if anyone else out there thought this was the wrong direction. The game should be showing me more information, not less. Knowing that a player is down to their health pool only helps me decide if I'm going to be aggressive and push or if I'm going to box up and heal. Masking damage by putting it all under shield is a distinction that may cause incorrect decision making.
