In Season 7, please don't do multi-stage challenges again.

Honestly. They're not "Hard", they're just tedious and absolutely annoying to do. It's even worse when you have to wait until the next match to be able to do the next stage. Just retire these multi-stage challenges, they're such a bother to keep doing over and over and over again. Just makes me have less fun doing Weekly Challenges.

The "Will I make it to tier 100 in time?" reference guide

Introduction

This is a breakdown of all the ways to earn battle stars or tiers. If you would like me to work out what tier you specifically can potentially get to then comment your current tier, level, weekly challenge progress in stars including the bonus 5 tiers.

Levelling Up

There's a total of 100 levels that can be attained in Fortnite. Each level gives 2 Battle Stars with the exception of every 5th level giving 5 Battle Stars and every 10th level giving 10 Battle Stars.

• 100 Battle Stars for every 10th level
• 50 Battle Stars for every 5th level
• ~160 Stars for the 80 levels in-between
• 310 Battle Stars or 31 tiers total

As a rough guide, you get ~31 Battle Stars or 3 tiers for every 10 levels (level 20 to 30 for example) so you can take your current level and calculate how many tiers you could potentially get.

Weekly Challenges

There's a total of 10 weeks worth of challenges at 50 Battle Stars per week and a bonus 5 tiers that can be attained

• 500 Battle Stars or 50 tiers total
• 50 bonus Battle Stars or 5 bonus tiers
• 65,000 XP from completing 4/7 challenges each week

The 65,000 XP you get from completing 4/7 challenges each week is worth a different amount of tiers depending on what level you already are, for example it's equal to going from level 1 to level 33 which is approximately 9 tiers

Daily Challenges

You get 1/2 a tier per day essentially so take how many days are left in the season, half it and that's roughly how many tiers you can get from daily challenges. Since it's almost the end of the season, it's unlikely that anyone grinding will get much use out of daily challenges.

• 1/2 a tier per daily challenge is equal to 350 Battle Stars or 35 tiers for the whole season (70 days)
• 500 XP per challenge is equal to 35,000 XP for the whole season (70 days)

The 35,000 XP you get from completing daily challenges is worth a different amount of tiers depending on what level you already are, for example it's equal to going from level 1 to level 25 which is approximately 7 tiers

Buying Tiers / V-Buck Rewards

Realistically if you start very late in the season, it's either literally impossible to get tier 100 or it's incredibly unlikely. A lot of people will either decide not to bother or will be okay with buying the remaining tiers. If you're starting late then and haven't bought it yet perhaps buying the 25 tier bundle will be your best option however if you have bought it, you may need to buy tiers.

• You get 100 V-Bucks at levels 4, 11, 27, 34, 35, 42, 52, 58, 70, 75, 85, 91, 97
• You get 200 V-Bucks on level 18 which is a total of 1,500 V-Bucks

Based on weekly challenge completion alone I estimate you could net a return of at least 700 V-Bucks which this season could translate to buying one 10 tier bundle at 600 V-Bucks or roughly 5 tiers buying them individually.

Conclusion

If you were to play at the start of the season you could get to tier 100 simply by completing all of the daily and weekly challenges whilst also attaining approximately level 32 which you would attain simply from weekly challenge XP alone.

If you're starting late, you will be heavily limited by how much time you have to play. If you can do it, focus on completing challenges as doing the weekly challenges will net you tier 55 minimum and then add in however many daily challenges you can get.

Revert the glider speed back to normal

Title says it all, why was the glider speed reduced anyway? It feels like you're gliding at about -2mph now... it's literally 10x easier to get killed while gliding/kill people who are gliding now, I'm a half ok player and since glider speed was nerfed I've noticed even I've been getting a lot more kills on people gliding... please, just revert it back to normal

Fortnite In 10 Years

It’s Season 51. You and your bud are on a motor boat going across the beaches north of Pineapple Point in the tropical map. Your friend sees a DJ Yonder. They must be good. You shoot your hunting rifle, which has a thermal scope attachment and a golden camo. You hit him for 225 headshot, but his perk, the heavy, saves him from death. Your friend grabs a Portal Potty and teleports him and shoots his bazooka. It blows up both of them, and all is left is you and a Saint Nicholas skin. He shoots his green scar, which has a red dot scope and a suppressor. He has the tomato camo, he is also an old player from season 8. You take out a green tactical shotgun with a distance power up and hit him for 9. You win the game.

A few home truths Part 2

• We are not getting the ability to remove Elite Agent’s headgear. If we were getting it, we would have it by now, not 3 seasons later. Same principle applies with Redline.

• The Factories, Hogwarts, The Prison, Moisty Mire and the Double Pump are not returning. Please stop asking about this.

• Posting something like “I’m quitting Fortnite” will only provoke responses like “Cya” or “You’ll be back tomorrow”. The reality is no one cares if you stop playing Fortnite or not.

• Unless a dataminer is able to leak when cosmetics are coming to the shop with concrete evidence, no one knows definitively when skins etc are returning to the shop. Stop asking.

• Any posts that refer to “OG Skins” or “OG Cosmetics” in general will never be received well on this Subreddit. Save yourself the hate and don’t post about it. No one cares if you have skins that haven’t been released in the shop for a while/are considered to be “original” skins.

• We’re never going back to the old days of Fortnite so either adapt or leave. Would you really want the old Fortnite anyway? Building was clunky, you couldn’t walk over ammo to pick it up etc.

• If you do not finish unlocking styles for a Progressive Outfit from the Battle Pass during the current season, you WILL still be able to unlock these in the following seasons. They will remain as a tab on your challenge screen. Too many people post asking this question. You do NOT get locked out of any progressive outfits once the season ends as of Season 5.

• We know. Sometimes your character bugs out and loses his/her hair. The first 20 posts showed us this. I don’t think we need anymore posts about it.

• Old Battle Pass skins are never coming back. People spent time/money to acquire these skins. The uproar and backlash Epic Games would receive if they put Battle Pass skins in the shop would be huge. It will never happen. If you wanted them, you should have bought and worked through the Battle Pass at the time.

There are loads more things I could add to this list, but I’ll save you having to read anymore. I only did a second one of these to save you having a huge list to read. I won’t do another one of these, people are probably already fed up of this.

I'm calling it. Flush Factory will turn into some sort of Santa's factory with elves working on presents

Flush is considered a dead drop nowadays so it makes sense that epic will change it in some form so this is the most logical idea I came up with. On top of that it looks like the snowstorm that is slowly approaching is going to hit flush factory first which would make an impact on the location.

• Your LTM suggestion will probably not be considered

• Epic Games will make their own decision regarding an April Fools Day joke

• Yes, if you plug a Keyboard and Mouse in to your console you will be put into PC LOBBIES

• It’s really not that difficult not to press “PURCHASE” when looking at a skin in the item shop. You press the button, not Epic Games. Be careful.

• Yes, we understand. When you require a certain type of weapon for a challenge, it seems to become more difficult to find them. We know.

• Third partying is a part of the game. It will never change, so decide whether you like that aspect of the game or not. If not, you may as well play a different genre of game

• We really only needed one post asking Epic to give you customisable numbers on the Basketball Skins

• Your self promotional links/videos from your YouTube/Twitch channel are not welcome here and will more than likely be downvoted to oblivion

• The search bar is your friend. Use it to see if something you want to post has been posted before. With nearly 1,000,000 people subscribed to this Subreddit, it is more than likely that your post is not original when asking a question

• Dark Voyager/Omega’s Pickaxe customisable lights are not coming. We’re in Season 6. Those cosmetics were released in S3/S4 respectively. If we were getting customisation for the two, we’d have it by now. Please stop asking about it.

• XP earned BEFORE you unlock Dire at Tier 100 DOES NOT carry over toward progress for Dire’s progressive styles. You will need to grind 250,000 XP to unlock every single progressive outfit for Dire outside of colours that require challenge completions. There are so many posts asking if this is bugged. It is not bugged. It’s intentional. Use the search bar.

Search toilets for more grappler gun uses

Grapplers have a max of 10 uses , but you should be able to refill up to 10 when you need to.

Grapplers use plungers , so searching toilets would be the best place to find them.

Searching may be grant you with 1 or 2 grappler shots.

Even if they're dipped in someone's poop , I'm sure this idea would make people start using the grappler a lot more.

We would like to set specific focused feedback on the Mounted Turret to base your conversation on, potential talking points are:

• Should the mounted turret have an ammo capacity and how does it affect it?
• How would adjusting the turrets cooldown values affect the weapon?
• Should the drop rate be adjusted, if so by how much?
• Does the turret damage need to be adjusted in any way?
• Is the weapon balanced in comparison to other weapons and defensive building?
• Does this weapon deserve to stay or should it be removed completely?

November 2018 Rule Updates

Hello r/FortniteBR!

We have made some changes to help control the volume of suggestion posts and overall posts that have been sore spots or perceived as low effort by the community. We understand that some users will not be happy with this change and it is not a change that we took lightly. We thoroughly discussed this change within the mod team and believe that it is the best choice going forward.

Suggestion Guidelines Additions:

• All suggestions must go into a text post alongside a description of your suggestion. If the description of the suggestion is not long enough to encourage a valid discussion, then it will be removed. You can provide a link to an image, gif, or video in your post via imgur or a similar service, but we do not allow link shorteners.

Recently there have been a lot of ‘spammy & low quality’ suggestions and that has been brought to our attention by users of the subreddit. This is one of the main reasons why we’re enforcing this change, we want r/FortniteBR to be a place for everybody to be able to discuss the game and share their ideas. But when it gets to the point that our users are unhappy with the suggestion content that was being posted, we felt like this was a good change that will help the subreddit.

Discussion Guidelines Additions:

• Posts that are only images of in-game elements (weapons, items, etc) must be in a text post with a description.

Much like the above change to the Suggestion Guidelines, the community has voiced concerns that a lot of posts are ‘spammy & low quality’ because they are just an image of some element in Fortnite that requires no effort to post and does not leave much room for engaging discussion.

• No posts where the sole focus is nostalgia. (For example: “Remember when…?” or “Remember X item?”)

There are always a lot of these posts floating around the subreddit and it just seems like these nostalgia posts are posted and reposted just to earn some easy karma rather than encouraging relevant discussions.

All pre-existing posts are grandfathered in.

Dynamite Returns + Mounted Turret Changes

Boom! We’ve re-enabled Dynamite as well as made some adjustments to the Mounted Turret.

Mounted Turret Changes:

• Headshot Multiplier

  • Reduced from 2.0x to 1.5x

• Time To Overheat

  • Reduced from 10 seconds to 6 seconds

We’ll also be making additional changes in the upcoming v6.31 update. We are going to adjust the collision volume to make it easier to land shots against whoever is occupying the Mounted Turret as well as change the Turret’s floor to take structure damage instead of player damage.

For clarity on this weeks topic we would like to try out Point of Interests (POI) and base feedback around them.

• Is it a viable drop for early game Material, should there be more material availability?

Final Update - Multiple Purchases On PS4 During Season 6 Launch

We wanted to come back around and give a final update for players that might have been affected by the PS4 Double Purchase issue that occurred around Season 6 Launch.

 

For a timeline on the issue you can head over to our last update, as well as the initial Reddit post that brought the larger issue to our attention with the in-line Epic responses.

Once again, we apologize for the extended delay on resolving this issue; we will make this right with each affected player.

 

We’ve been working with Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) to identify all players affected by this and SIE will be reaching out to the affected players.

 

Once we have confirmed SIE has reached out, Epic will be granting additional V-Bucks to those affected to make up for our delay in action around this issue. No action is required on your end.

 

Thank you once again to /u/lilsus2004 for helping to surface the issue. We appreciate the community’s patience!

Food Fight Adjustments

Hey Beef Bosses and Tomato Heads,

 

We’ve made some changes to the Food Fight LTM.

• Mascot health decreased from 200k to 100k

• Decreased Mounted Turret drop rate by 50%

• Added the timer of Storm 4 to Storm 3.

  • This means there will only be 3 total Storm Circles.

• Reduced the “Auto Mascot Damage” by 40%

  • Auto Mascot damage is applied to each teams Mascot at set intervals so that matches will auto resolve within a set time frame if neither team is able to destroy the enemies Mascot. Auto Mascot damage starts ticking 5 minutes after Storm Circle 2.
